
Honey Spiced Glazed Carrots

Delicious winter side dish!
Ingredients
- 1 TBSP Southern Farm Spiced Fruit Dip Mix (divided)
- 2lbs carrots (cleaned, peeled, and trimmed)
- 1/4 Cup of honey
- 2 TBSP melted salted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Clean, trim, and peel the carrots, and allow them to set on the counter for 30-45 minutes, to bring them to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Once the carrots have come to room temperature, slice them at a diagonal about 1-1.5 inches long. If your carrots are thick, you can slice them in half as well.
- Place carrots in a large mixing bowl, and add the honey, garlic, melted butter, oil, 1/2 TBSP Spiced Fruit Dip, salt, and pepper. Toss until the carrots are well coated.
- Place carrots onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining Spiced Fruit Dip Mix over them (you may also drizzle the carrots with the oil/butter/spice mixture that is left in the bowl, but be sure to do this before sprinkling them with the Spiced Fruit Dip Mix).
- Bake carrots in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until carrots are fork tender, turning them halfway through.
- Remove carrots and transfer them to desired serving dish.
- You may garnish with parsley, thyme, or any fresh herb if you like.
