Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast
Savory chicken breast with a creamy, yet tangy filling.
Ingredients
- 4 TBSP of Southern Farm Spinach Dip Mix
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1.2 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan OR mozzarella cheese
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Mix 4 TBSP of Southern Farm Spinach Dip Mix with 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, and 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce. Refrigerate for 4 hours before using.
2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place chicken breasts on sheet and cut the breasts lengthwise, creating a pocket in the breasts (be careful not to cut all the way through).
3. In a bowl, combine the parmesan OR mozzarella cheese with the prepared spinach dip. Stuff each breast with about 1/4 cup of the mixture.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
5. Gently brush both sides of each breast with olive oil, sprinkling the seasoning mix on each side. Be careful when flipping the breasts to not dump out the filling.
6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until breasts reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
